★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an "interview" for a data entry job today. My interview was scheduled from 8am-5pm. Huh? When I replied for a more specific time, they sent me "8am" at 7:56am. I tried video calling them from Google Hangouts (the app they said to use) They did not answer, but instead opened a chat. Already seemed suspicious to me.
They opened the interview by asking my name and location. Hello...They contacted ME to set up an interview!
Then they offered WAY too much money ($32/hr) for a simple data entry position. Also offered full benefits for part time. They said it was entirely a work from home job, but that I would be expected to work at the new office they are building, come July. Also, the schedule I was expected to work was "8am-4pm daily" but I was told I could work just 4 hours a day, and they didn't answer how that would work.
Lastly, I could only find one address for the company, which Google had listed for like 4 other "pharmaceutical companies" with similar names. Also, one of the products the website lists is "all kinds of vaccines" and none of the products are listed by pharmaceutical name.
I could be wrong. This may be a legitimate company. But it screams scam!
