Reading widens the horizon of students and enhances their language skills. The school is totally committed to create a language learning community and ensure that at least 80% students enrolled, read minimum two books in each term.

Former Principal Mrs. Geeta Sehgal, was the Head of the school for more than eighteen years. During her tenure at VBPS she received the prestigious Dr Radha Krishnan Award-2000, Indira Gandhi Memorial Award 2001, Avantika Guru Dronacharya Award 2003, Shikshak Rattan Samman 2003 and Human Rights Award 2005, Millenium National Teacher Award 2007 and Avantika Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Samman 2007. This aptly proves her mettle in the field of education

Having worked in various prestigious schools and armed with a rich experience of 28 years in the field of education, Mrs. Rachna Jain is currently the Head of the School. She focuses not only on academic excellence but also on all round development of her students as individuals. A dedicated and committed educationist, who aspires to provide quality education to the students.
