This institute is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Institute of Engineers (India). The college is administrated by Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. VGEC shifted to its own campus at Chandkheda, Ahmedabad in the year 2004.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best college after LD for engineering students. Atmosphere of here is awesome, greenery is very nice. Very big campus and parking area here. Faculties are very supportive and give motivation to join events also. Companies also comes here to give internships and provide jobs.

Faculty members are highly educated and ofcourse with good knowledge. They're supportive, helpful and also encourage students for other Technical Activities...
