Its surrounding is the place for the yearly fair held every year from the day of Karthik eka-dashi. The surrounding area is very peacefull and beautifull. One can come here and spend a peacefull and spiritual time in the mandir.

The mandir itself is over a hundred years old, while the idols of Vitthal and Rukmini predate it. Over a century old, the place is the focal point for worship, social gatherings and everything holy and auspicious.
