1)As per Mohabharata Duryadha was killed by A Panchu Pandab named Bhima near a deep pond.
2)Saint Vyasadeva was living there meanwhile this place is known as Vyasa-Sarobara.
Now its under Odisha tourism.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a mythological place.It believed that Duryodhan of Sarala- Mahabharat was hiding here in Gupta Ganga before death.Also here is a thought that a under ground root opens in Vedvyas cave of Panposh, Rourkela.Vyasa Sarovar of Vyasanagar & Vedvyas of Rourkela are interconnected. A geological survey is needed for all mythological thoughts of this place.
