K	Karan Dave on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very peaceful place, many ducks and birds are there. Lake is very big and round walk measures- 5 kilometers! Many people come especially to shoot videos and capture birds in pics. There is also a restaurant. There is also a bird watching building which is closed since 5 years. There is a small road which connects lake with farms and canals. But 2 boys were scamming us and asking money to park even if police allowed from free. Beware of them! Bring binoculars if possible because police doesn't allow to go near lake because of giant crocodiles.
P	Paras Agarwal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a big and calm lake. A lot of migratory birds can be seen during the season. While traveling from Vadodara there are few roadside highway restaurants. There is not much facility for tourists near Lake so it is better to carry your own food/water etc.
D	Dinesh Tiwari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wadhvana bird sanctuary is a place @39 Km from New Sama road Baroda. From Baroda-Bombay national Highway take turn to Raj pipla which is also a way to Statue of Unity. There is a single track mud road parallel to canal from the main road till sanctuary (@1.5kms) roads are not developed properly for a car to travel, while going back the same road will be used as 2 way fir going and coming cars. There are guest house with total of 18 family rooms including 2 and 4 bed options, 1900/- and 3800/- respectively, you get breakfast with tea, lunch, evening tea, dinner and next day breakfast with tea, timings 9am-9am. There is a canteen also to have tea and snacks, parking is paid parking, best timings as mentioned by forest department is 9am to 5pm. Before leaving for this place check the sunrise timings, distance from your home, if you have kids and elders then carry Mat, tea , snacks to enjoy a nice weather breakfast on the lake. It’s a lake with roads made all around to walk through and have a place anywhere to sit and enjoy, there are benches provided fir sitting, it is surrounded by the farms to enjoy a good moment.
a	abhineet bansal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, serene and beautiful!!! A lot has already been written about this location and no doubt that it is a beautiful location to visit any time of the year. Let me be little more specific though. Route - Its about 40 kms/ 1 hour from Baroda and the route is pretty decent for bikes/cars/bicycles alike. There are 2 routes to reach the place. The routes divert from Dabhoi. The 1st is the more common one which is from the side of the resort and hence you will find quite a lot of crowd. The 2nd is from the highway side (pls explore google maps before you leave) and is less frequented and hence better. Timing - Obviously morning 6-8 or evening 5-7. After noons may get a little hot Ambience - Natural and serene. Clean (Surprisingly). And best for morning stroll and photography. Its really popular amongst the Barodians and hence even at 7 in the morning you may find some crowd. Not an ideal picnic spot because of the flies/insects. Arrangements - Carry your own food and water. Caution - I think the parking on the resort side is illegal. The moment a police van came escorting a VIP, the parking supervisor just folded and vanished only to come back an hour later. And since no one is questioning it, they are charging the tourists at there own sweet will. Please DO NOT litter the place. Lets preserve the nature we love so much.
v	vihang Khopkar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful place for Bird watching.. recently designated in April 2021.. this place has a lot of potential to become a bird watching hotspot... Gujrat Forest Department is taking up developing it very nicely.. . They have plan for setting eco tourism here this will be a good complimentary tourist spot during Nov-Feb season to statue of Unity!!!
A	Ankit Mirani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lovely, off the city place a wonderful vibe to it. We witnessed some great variety of birds. The water body on which this place is set-up is absolutely huge! Wonderful place to visit for 2-3 hours. Best time to visit is sunrise or sunset.
