★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best beaches I have been to in India. It's completely isolated and has very few visitors. Getting there is not easy, but it's just worth the trip. Located on the old road connecting Ratnagiri to Ganpatipule, the Ware beach is at about the midpoint of the route.
Once you get there, you pretty much have the beach to your own. The beach stretches for about 2.5 kilometres. It's absolutely pristine and clean. The sea is very calm. Checked with the locals, they told me there are no hidden underwater currents in this stretch of the beach.
The downside, there are no amenities here. No hotels or restaurants and no shacks. Just 1 small vendor who sells bottled water and Coconut water.
But it's absolutely worth the effort to get there. I would recommend this beach to everyone who visits this location.
