We had non-vegetarian buffet. Firstly the starter was nice, there was kebab of fish, chicken and mutton which were soft and taste was also good, which many restaurants fail to maintain at buffet. A special chaat of the day was served. In main course there was a huge variety of vegetarian dishes. As non-vegetarian there was dishes of mutton chicken and fish. Lastly there were 4 types of desserts including ice-cream alongwith chocolate sauce. I would like to mention the fact that their service was nice although we went at busy lunch time. Overall nice experience, must visit.

It is good for medium budget buffet. The overall ambience is good. Among starters chicken kebab was nice, but don't go for the fish one, some how we felt it was smelly. In main course segment, the chicken salad was good so as the mutton preparation but chicken biryani don't have that taste. There are soups too. The tandoori roti & allied are ok. Desert section is pure love with strawberry mousse, two types of brownies, three kind of ice creams and the small hot jamuns.

We Desi is located at Camac Street , on the 5th floor of the Westside building.. The ambience was in retro style.. Furniture, lights, floor everything was in touch of retro look.. The retro songs were playing in sound box.. I'm sure you will like the ambience definitely.. I was there to try buffet lunch.. Welcome drink was 1 pint of virgin mojito or beer.. Then the starters were veg and non-veg items specially chicken tandoori.. Just awesome and truly fantastic.. Starters were provided on table.. The hospitality was very good..Moving on to the main course, there were soup , 11 types of salads, rice, polao, vegetables, panir, veg hakka noodles, mashroom, fish , chicken, mutton.. Every chicken piece was leg item and mutton preparation was too tasty.. The breads - Cheese Chilli Kulcha and Garlic Naan was provided on table..The desserts were 5 items includes vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate but were mindblowing.. I specially loved the cherry pastries and hot kalojam..Overall , I had a very good experience at this place . If you are planning to make a visit , I would recommend you to be there soon.. You will experience a good buffet with mind-blowing ambience..

Located near WestSide, Camac Street, Block D (5th Floor). It was a Thursday afternoon and I went for a lunch buffet with office friends. We were running a little late and reached around 12:30 pm ( buffet timing is from 12pm - 3pm). We received a warm welcome. The staff was courteous. I really liked the ambiance. It was like the Victorian Kolkata met the Desi kind of feel and the music was soothing. Me and my friends were super hungry so we were like let's get started. 1. The first item to land on our table was Phuchka. It was tasty n tangy just the way it should be. 2. Then they served us Chicken Soup, Garlic Fish and Pan Fried Chicken. The Garlic Fish tasted like the Fish Pakoras you make at home and but tasted a bit bitter. The Pan Fried Chicken was spellbinding. I really loved the taste and the chicken was tender. Try the Pan Fried Chicken with the Green Chutney for Maximum taste. 3. They also served us with the veg starters which included Grilled Potatoes, Grilled Paneer and Matar Tikya. I am not much of a vegetarian guy but all of them tasted really nice and if you are a vegetarian you would love the taste. 4. They also have Complimentary Drinks ( Mocktails/Cocktails). We opted for Virgin Mojito. It was very refreshing. Moving on to Main Course we had: 1. Stem Rice/ Jeera Rice (Jeera Rice had a nice aroma to it) 2. Butter Naan/ Tandoori Roti ( Go for Butter Naan) 3. Kashmiri Aloo Dum Must try. The best dish out of everything I had. The gravy tasted like the best gravy I have ever had. The blend of all the spices and cream was just perfect. I wish they had something with Chicken in the same gravy. 3. Butter Paneer Tasted average ( I guess I am saying that because I was still lost in the taste of the Aloo Dum while I was having it). They used cream paneer which was really nice. I loved the taste. 4. Rajma Tasted good with Jeera like, just like a match made in heaven (Rajma- Chawal). 5. Baingan Sabji ( was not able to try that cause I had a lot on my plate already) 6. Noodles ( tasted like a regular Haka Noodle) 7. Chilly chicken It was tasty. What worked for me was that instead of large Chunks of chicken, they had small shreds of chicken. 8. Chilly Fish Don't get confused with Chilly Chicken. It actually tasted very different from Chilly Chicken and better too. 9. Chicken Gravy Tasted nice, the gravy was not very spicy and it had a really nice aroma and taste. The chicken pieces were tender and we'll cooked. 10. Mutton Gravy I really liked the gravy which was thick and full of spices. The mutton pieces were tender and tasty as well. The only thing that ticked me off was that all the pieces were mostly bones and less meat. Could have used better pieces with less bones and more meat. Moving on to Desserts, we had Jalebi ( which was hot and tasty), Chocolate Moose, Mango Pastry, Cheese Cake and Ice Cream. All the items were tasty. They made sure that the items were sweet and not too sweet. The sweetness was perfect. Special Mention: There were different types of Salads available. So if you are a Salad person then you won't be disappointed. Shout Out to the staff of WeDesi. You guys were awesome and made sure that we were comfortable all the time (regardless of how many times we asked you to repeat the starters). A big Thumbs Up. Pocket Pinch: Rs. 660.

One of the best buffet in the town at affordable rates. They are having lunch buffet at 675/- which is a pretty good deal. This is located in the prime location of Camac Street just besides TFO or Shisha. The food quality is food. They have good spread buffet. Loved their biriyani and the gorom rosogolla.

At the rate of 499 in weekdays it is quite good in non veg buffet, but variety are very less. Starter is 3 types of kebab. Main course is also limited variety and in desert section also.If you wsnt to enjoy non veg buffet at low price the you can try. Quality of food is very good staffs are also polite and helpful.
