This is the most accessible and convenient trading place for local farmers, vegetable producers, artisans and small traders. Vendors of vegetables, cereals, pulses, artefacts, food items, clothes, garments, traditional medicines, books, stationeries, utensils and many other household goods come to this market to sell their products. The market is held twice in a week on Mondays and Fridays, from early in the morning to late in the afternoon. The number of traders and purchasers is usually more on Mondays. The market yard has a concrete floor and there are cemented platforms for temporary stalls. There are borewells to provide drinking water. Cleanliness and sanitation is an issue here, mostly after the market is closed. Garbages are left uncleared for a longtime.
