About Wenger's
Wengers was established in the year 1924 as a catering outfit for the British troops stationed in Delhi. In 1926 the tea room and Confectionery were inaugurated in Exchange stores in Kashmere gate. Sometime in the late 20’s early ’30s, Wengers shifted base from Kashmere Gate to Connaught Place and has been on this prominent location. Having successfully run a Bakery and Confectionery, both in Delhi and Simla, three restaurants in CP, pioneering Ice Cream Manufacture in Delhi, a Café in the Delhi University, Catering for all the Embassies, the High court, the Supreme Courts, and the Govt of India.
Over the years Wengers has attained legendary status amongst the food outlets in Delhi with people coming from far and wide to sample the food on offer. It is now the oldest surviving establishment in Connaught Place.
Generations from families have been coming to the shop regularly and speak fondly of the old times. In the year 2011, we started a new outlet by the name of Wengers Deli, serving deli-style food to the public. The New outlet has been received very well by the customers and has become very popular.

It's situated in Block A. Few points:
Service is quick
Seating is average- not comfortable for more than half an hour
There are beggars outside who will come and stare at you and your food

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waho.. This place is the oldest authentic bakery and such a amazing taste. We tired pastries and patties and it was very tasty.
They have one bakery section and one outlet for sitting and enjoying food.
Usually crowded and have to wait in que for ur turn bt it's worth it.
Taste is amazing. Must try it out this place. There is a token system, pay, have token and then take ur item.
Loved this outlet.

Why you should visit:
- They still retain the same taste and quality.
- To try their shami kebabs, mutton patty, chocolate eclair and chocolate truffle pastry.
What will put you off:
- Please do not expect any customer service here as the staff and management is very rigid and will not even try to accomodate simplest of request.
- Everything here is priced very high.

Entering Wengers, you feel like you have entered an old time bakery shop you will be surrounded by the aroma of fresh food items being prepared??.They always serve fresh and excellent food but the only problem is the small sitting area.Huge variety of cakes are there???.Price of cake is Rs.550/- .If we talk about ambience it is outstanding .Its a very crowded place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good old world bakery. They have some unique stuff. Really like their brad loafs, sandwich breads, pastries.
Cookies etc looked quite common like most other bakeries.
Good this is that they were maintaining the covid protocol, only allowing certain No of people inside at any time. People were waiting patiently outside in queue.
Once inside the process is quite streamlined and fast. You get the right attention and don’t have to shout to get the attention. Best thing to do is see what you want to buy and ask one person to help in one go. He will pack all the stuff and give you the coupon, you go to the payment counter and pay for the same. Come back to the places where you prefers and your stuff is packed and ready. Quite well thought out process and worlds like charm.
Really liked their Fig tart, keema patties, chocolate pastries, and other non very salty items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best bakeries I must say. We ordered Lemon Tart, Macrons and Tum Socked cake and all delicious. The tart and macrons are so soft that it melts in the mouth.. 10 out of 10 for this. They had a variety of things available cakes, croissant ? breads, biscuits, all are must tried...
totally recommended to people with sweet tooth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the oldest bakeries in New Delhi. If you are looking for a cute, cozy and casual place to enjoy with your friends and family, this is a great place to check out! The item prices are pretty reasonable. Although there is not much seating area, people keep flowing in and out so you will get one after a bit of wait.
The items are mostly snacks, cakes, drinks etc. The people are quite friendly and the ambience is good.
