White charcoal - amazing fine dine restaurant have to say. The Ambience and decor was just wonderful.so beautiful and rich. Hygene and cleanliness was fabulous.white charcoal is concentrating on fine dine dishes so please it is requested to all that dont complaint regarding quantity. Because in fine dine restaurant quality matters alot. although quantity was adequately good. Staff was very polite and down to earth towards customer. You all should once come and experience fine dine. Lets have a look on what we had at white charcoal. Well before ordering food they gave us complimentory sald and some small one spoon biters which was made of up mango and it was filled with mango juice and thin layers was there from outside it was just melt in mouth. They also gave their legacy vapored drink (white charcoal drink) which is not for drinking purpose but it gives good positive vibes and aesthetically it was really good. β€’ indian itch : this was so meady and refreshing drink β€’ strawberry sunset : this is my personal favorite mocktail and very well garnished β€’ edamame samosa : stuffing was made up of blanched hyacinth beans and few spices.it was average in taste i didn't like it much β€’ tandoori chicken poppers : this was heart winning dish to be frank. Chicken kheema ball was coated in flour and deep fried and topped with cheesey sauces.it was four big pieces.tasted really great. β€’ Hyderabadi murgh biryani : i wish i can give more than 5/5 for this dish.this was heavenly good.i never had such a beautiful and delicious biryani ever.cooked in pure home churned butter.and very creamy and little spicy it was. β€’ dum ka murgh: chicken pieces was cooked in yellow curry and they have added too much ghee (home churned butter) into dish.tasted really nice also plating was fabulous. β€’ malbar paratha(parotta) : we had butter parathas and it was perfectly cooked from all sides.and taste was really nice. We finally ended with sweet β€’ mango tres leches : this is Spanish sweet dish basically it means it is made in 3 layers.one is sponge cake ,second is mango flavored milk and third is cream on top.this dish was perfectly chilled not very hot nor very forzen.if you visit white charcoal then must try this sweet dish. Overall experience of mine at white charcoal was mind blowing and thank you white charcoal team for such a great hospitality.would love to visit again soon.

Can’t describe my experience here with words. Chef Ajay Chopra has done a fantastic job with the menu options here. There are very limited dishes available here but each dish is a unique experience in itself. White Charcoal one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. Writing this after a very long time as was facing some issues with my id. I will begin with the welcome drama, take me literally when I say this. We got our table the server came to us with a glass of coloured aromatic water which was poured over dry ice in a fishbowl which was a perfect show to start the meal. This restaurant specialises in traditional Indian cuisine with a twist, the Amuse BouchΓ© was a piece of pineapple served along with sweet date chutney. Later we ordered Red Wine Sangria and White Wine Sangria and we asked our server for suggestions and they were so knowledgable about the dishes served at the restaurant. Starters: Haleem Baklava ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prawns Telicherry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Papad Story (Assortment of various Indian Papads) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mains: Kashmiri Muslim Roganjosh⭐⭐⭐ Hyderabadi Murgh Biryani ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Butter Roti Dessert: Chocolate Salt & Pepper ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chocolate Ghewar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As an Indian meal is incomplete without a mouth freshener ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally, we ended our meal with a pan sorbet which was just splendid.

White Charcoal is a hidden gem in the heart of Andheri's Lokhandwala area. It is that slice of tranquility that we require amidst our busy lives in the maximum city. It is a restaurant dedicated entirely to traditional Indian cooking. Think slow roasted, tandoored dishes, and White Charcoal got them! I went for a dinner with a friend and had some of the best meat based preparations in a long while. I would especially like to mention their Nihari Kebab. It is slow cooked mutton with yakhni reduction and is highly recommended by me! Seafood lovers should definitely try the Prawns Tellicherry. For mains, be sifeto try their Malabar Roasted Pranws. The gravy is amazing! We finished off our dinner with Textures of Milk and Saffron Tres Leches. The Textures of Milk is a gastronomic experience of its own, revolving around cooking and presenting milk in various ways. Absolutely the highlight of my time in White Charcoal! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to indulge in the long forgotten Indian recipes and have a peaceful time while doing so. Excellent service by the staff!

OVERPRICED, SMALL PORTIONS & HEAVY FOOD. My second visit to the place in less than a week for various festival related events. I found the place to be very good in terms of its ambience. However, what was good from an ambience stand point lacked in terms of the taste of food. The food was extremely heavy and their experiments in the name of modern Indian cuisine failed spectacularly. Mumbai has a lot more to offer. Can certainly give this place a miss!!

White charcoal is based completely around a black and white theme! The place id absolutely beautiful, elegant and classy! The Ambience is superb, the lights are amazing, the seating arrangement is royale, the service is fancy, infact even the cutlery is fancy! So when you arrive here you are greeted with utmost respect and they welcome you with an Indian Aroma smoke theatre stuff! The aroma was really good, they also provide you with palate cleanser so that you enjoy the meal completely! Coming to food: In mocktails we tried *Strawberry sunset* strawberry based drink having nice refreshing taste and also a very distinct colour of the drink! I think they don't use excess of sugar in any drink and just let the sweetness of the fruit shine so this drink was not that sweet but it was really tasty! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ *Frozen lemonade* I mean slushes are my favorite, they have choices of flavours and I ordered for orange and mint, the entire glass was thick icey cold mixture of orange and mint directly blended together! The taste was something different which I had never tried before. I loved it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In food: *Tandoori chicken poppers* oh these were so yumm! Super cripspy on the outside and having great amount of chicken tandoori and also some cheese and stuff! Really tasty! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ *Nalli Nihari kebab* if you are a mutton fan and you happen to visit this place, do not skip from ordering this, The prices of tender mutton nalli cooked so nicely in a sauce having the most amazing taste! The chef personally recommends this dish and also cooks it with all his heart i suppose! Its a class apart dish ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *Dum ka murg and chur chur naan* the chicken pieces were tender, cooked in a gravy made from cashews and cream and coconut, it was nice The chur chur naan was super crispy and also soft at the same time! The combination was really good and you can order this and won't regret ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dessert: *Chocolate soil and black pepper ice cream* I mean "agar yeh nahi khaya toh kya khaya" The dessert presentation is superb, the taste is superb! Its all very royal! The dessert comprises of 70% dark chocolate mouuse, a chocolate soil, some amarath, some chikki and black pepper icecream! If I only begin to describe how each of the component blended so well with each other and gave a complete feeling i have short of words! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *Apricot Hazelnut Samosa* Again another classic, samosa the coating of which is super thin, super crisp and just having the taste like filo pastry stuffed with apricot and hazelnut mix and dryfruits and served with a side of almond foam! Nothing can go wrong with such fancy desserts! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visit this place for a pure gastronomical experience and I promise you will enjoy every dish thoroughly! The food is unique, the drinks are great and if for nothing do visit to try their dessert menu! We are thankful to Abhishek for being a kind host and for being so prompt and quick in service! Overall: Food: 9/10 Ambience: 9/10 Quantity: 8/10 Quality: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Value for money: 8/10
