★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All industrial waste, sewage, garbage, etc. are disposed off here. You can't persist foul smell while passing by here, even over the bridge, wind blows strong unpleasant smell of those dumped items.
Due to continuous disposal of waste materials, you can witness white foam all over the water surfaces (pic attached) which resembles snow fall from distance, but sadly that's not true.
Years ago, we worship our rivers like God, but believe me day-by-day Yamuna is in bad state as I am a daily commuter of Noida from Delhi.
Let's hope one day we will realise and take appropriate actions to clean our rivers. Every year, our politicians promise to do the same, but sadly, a few works/efforts can be seen at the time of "Chhat Puja" only and after then nothing happens.
