★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this place very useful. The kund made for the rituals is built in a logical way. They have also put some catfishes in that Kund . These fishes eat the pooja offerings (that is correct according to Hindu rituals too). This place saves a lot of time for the people of Bangalore. Had this place ( and others like this) been not built by the authorities; people would have to travel a lot to perform the ritualistic part especially those concerned with the rituals of the death.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place where you can perform Ancestry shraaddha. There is a pond filled with fishes where you can put pundas from shraaddha performed in home. There is a register maintained just enter your name and phone and amount paid to the keeper

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place for performing Pithru Karya in a peaceful atmosphere. It is reasonably clean. Has two rooms for performing the rituals. Rituals can also be performed outside as well. There is a covered area as well as space open to sky where rituals can be performed. There is a small pond for immersion of the Pindas (rice balls). There are fishes in this water body which eat the rice balls and keep it clean. There is facility for washing hands and feet as well as open showers for men. Seperate toilets for men and women are also provided. After the karya, the flowers, fruits, agarbatti and other materials can be disposed in seperate bins handling wet waste, recyclable waste etc. However there is no off street parking available. Vehicles have to be parked on the street along the Yediyur Lake but is available as most persons come early in the morning for the rituals. Ranks as on of the few good works done by the BBMP.
