YSR Engineering College Of Yogi Vemana University - Proddatur

Under establishment. Hostel is available only to 1st yr boys and to all years girls. Poor maintenance. Hope soon the development of campus as per Technical University standards.

This is the only one government engineering college in kadapa district and under yogi vemana university. For these college building and site allotted in Government polytechnic premises, that site not suitable and not sufficient for this engineering college.

I am an ece student of this college, faculty:worse(2/5)(u should prepare yourself for any kind of exam) infrastructure:1/5(not even one device will work in our lab and the campus doesn't have enough rooms too) placements:0/5(you should apply for companies ur self, we have no placements(for all branches)) Total rating:1/5

There is no hostel facility for 2 nd year students there is no good maintainence and also there is few class rooms

It literally took me 3years to give this review, in my second year I searched the college then watched most of the reviews after 2 or 3 days later Google starts asking me like how was ysr engineering college, by that time I don't know what to share so I started waiting every single time I searched this location or after added any pictures or videos of this college in maps it starts asking me and I kept avoiding. Now I think finally the time has come. I am not going to say this is greatest heaven or worst nightmare, but this college had shown me more than that, gaved me much of a life lessons, created so many memories to longing for, Well, i think I went too far from sharing experience to feeling nostalgia but if you are looking this review to decide whether this is a good college to join or not Then I could say while the time I was studying here it has very less permanent staff for my branch just 3, rest are contract lecturers and some of them teach very well and some of them doesn't teach at all but to be frank I never listened that much concentrationally but one thing for sure if your will is sufficient enough then you will get the knowledge from this college or else by putting effort to get it from other sources like YouTube,NPTEL,others. Now the college has only 2 buliding blocks for all years so they are using sksc degree college for us too, and most of the branches doesn't even have lab equipments and they have only girls hostel for all years, for boys hostel available for 1st years only, but my college has good ambience with gardens and ground. And recently it starts developing they started expanding the boys hostel and college blocks and also the girls hostel. I hope one day I will see my college with the looks that people say you are fortunate to be an YSR ENGINEERING COLLEGE OF YOGI VEMANA UNIVERSITY STUDENT.
