★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small original place to buy Zantye's Cashews. We did buy a few items and satisfied with taste and quality.
Prices are a little high but Assured of quality stuff. Packets of 1/4kg, 1/2kg and 1kg available in assorted types to suit one's needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Word of advice for everyone intending to buy Cashews in Goa. Get it packed in front of your eyes, don't buy the pre-packed ones.
I bought packed cashews from one of their partner stores near Calangute Beach Goa. Zantye's was printed in large fonts on that store front. I opened the packet to eat after exiting the store and I was shocked to see inside. In the center of the packet all the cashews were rotten and full of waste material. On the outside of the packing, there were good cashews maybe 30% and in the center around 70% were completely waste. Not even a dog would eat them, they were in such condition.
I went back to the shop and confronted the owner. And the answer that he gave me was that for 600 Rs. you will get these rotten cashews only. After lot of heckling and when he saw that other customers are looking upon, he finally returned the money.
Zantye's must surely be knowing about this, because I later came to know that this has happened with so many other people. But still they make such people their partner stores. Who knows, maybe Zantye's is also involved in this. If not, they should take action against such fraud practices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been buying Cashew nuts from Zantye's for more than 20 Years. They are the best. They have maintained the quality. They have a wide range of sizes, they have split & broken cashews too.
They also have the salted, spicy variety.
My all time favorite is the DRUM ROASTED. A must try, I'm sure you too will fall in love with this.
Now Zantye's Cashew is available on- line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a pack of 500g cashews from Zantye Calangute yesterday. Outside the ones visible are nice and full cashews. But when I opened the pack there was hardly 10 full cashews. Others were just waste and powdered pieces of brown and black rubbish. And these packs does not have zantyes name on it. These are some random named packets like 'Jumbo best quality cashews'. So when you post pics of them...they say these are not from our shop. How cheap of them to cheat and make a business like this. Once they know you are tourists they wait to steal money in all possible ways. If their motive is to only make money...better option would be to sit at entrance of beach and beg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people are scamsters. Tourists be aware. We bought 500 gm pack of cashews and all of it is trash packed under few good looking cashews. They pack cashews in non-transparent covers to cover all the trash that they are keeping inside. This is a huge scam these people re doing and it will blow in their face one day
