Zarra Si Biryani I liked only Zarra si and Zarra sa bhi it wasn't exceptional as it should have been given the same being their signature item The Tandoori Chicken was also quite average and neither do the interiors of the place beckon for one to sit down there and have a meal Overall can easily give the place a miss with multiple options available in near vicinity in Baani Square

Biryani (pronounced [bɪr.jaːniː]), also known as biriyani, biriani, birani or briyani, "spicy rice" is a mixed rice dishwith its origins among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent.[1][2][3] It is popular throughout the Indian subcontinent and among the diaspora from the region. It is made with spices, rice and meat (chicken, mutton, beef, prawn, or fish) or vegetables. Sometimes egg is also added. Etymology Biryani is an Urdu word derived from the Persian language, which was used as an official language in different parts of medieval India, by various Islamic dynasties.[4][5] One theory is that it originates from birinj, the Persian word for rice.[6][7] Another is that it derives from biryan or beriyan, to fry or roast.[8][9] Origin The exact origin of the dish is uncertain. In North India, different varieties of biryani developed in the Muslim centers of Delhi (Mughlai cuisine), Lucknow (Awadhi cuisine) and other small principalities. In South India, where rice is more widely used as a staple food, several distinct varieties of biryani emerged from Telangana (specifically Hyderabad), Tamil Nadu(Ambur), Kerala (Malabar), and Karnataka, where minority Muslim communities were present. Andhra is the only region of South India that does not have many native varieties of biryani.[6][10] During the Safavid dynasty (1501–1736) in Persia, a dish called Berian Pilao (Nastaliq script: بریان پلو‬) was made with lamb or chicken, marinated overnight – with dahi (yogurt), herbs, spices, dried fruits like raisins, prunes or pomegranate seeds – and later cooked in a tannouroven. It was then served with steamed rice

So when i had food here for the 1st time it was an awesome experience we had mutton biryani nihari gosht and chicken malai tikka which is my lo’s favourite. The owner or the manager I don’t who he was really spoke big about the brand and he went on on with how great they are so ok we simply loved the food so no issues. Now we ordered twice after that (home delivery) it was these time that we were disappointed. Chicken malai tikka supposed to have 6 pieces as we were served for the first time but in delivery we were send only 4 pieces and quarter biryani quantity was much less again and it was just average!! Nihari gosht also not nice this time and worse pieces. Maybe the chef changed m not sure. When i called the restaurant they said oh we have changed the quantity!!! Sad prices remain same!! So if u order make sure u confirm the quantity. Feeling disappointed as one more mutton serving restaurant off my list.. again we are left with only original karims when we want to eat mutton.

ZARRA SI BIRYANI is a place that is now at top in my list. Haven't tried such a soulful meal in a while, seriously. I went to the place last night with my friend. This compact little place has an unusual charm. They have customised wall papers depicting conversations between mughals of today's time! Something very interesting. Coming up to food, we ordered for ourselves: ● NON VEG TANDOORI PLATTER - The platter had Chicken seekh, Mutton Seekh, Malai Chicken tikka, Achaari Chicken tikka and fish tikka. The flavours of Achaari tikka and Malai Chicken tikka were the best I have had. I also loved the tender fish tikka which was flavoured nicely. Out of the seekh, I liked mutton Seekh more than that of chicken. This is one classic platter I have tried. ● CHICKEN BIRYANI and MUTTON BIRYANI - Since the place is well known for biryani's, I decided to order quarter portions of both. The long grained basmati rice were exotically flavoured. Mutton was succulent and when cooked along with the rice, tasted exceptionally good. Chicken was also marrinated well before it was cooked. Both the biryani's had aromatic and fragrant flavour. Once at the place, you should definitely try them. They also serve amazing curd and Salan with it. ● BUTTER CHICKEN - To be very frank, this was the best I have had from the past months. Totally loved what they served. Tender Boneless chicken pieces were wrapped in a butterly combination of cream and strong spices. Very luscious. Pair it up with garlic naan's and their mint sauce. You might not need anything else than this! ● DAAL BUKHARA - This chef special dish was yet again delectable. This is slow cooked black lentil and tomatoes. It had huge amount of butter on it which was like icing on the cake. The strong and aromatic essence of it was lovely. If visiting Zarra si Biryani and not tasting it, you shall miss the whole fun! The staff is very humble with their guests. They welcome you with happy faces and serves you with zeal. What I conclude from the review is that ZARRA SI BIRYANI is one best place you can visit when in gurgaon. I am sure that you all too shall have the best of your time here! Shall be ordering delectable food from here soon!
