β β β β β At Zeal College of Engineering and Research, academic activities are carried out along with professional excellence training programs. The Department of Mechanical Engineering conducts professional excellence programs for the students and addresses their current needs in line with industry expectations. Training programs help the students hone their technical skills as well as be abreast with current industrial practices through various programs such as "Application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD &T as per ASME International Standard", "Robotic programming & Industrial Automation", "MATLAB for Mechanical Engineers", "CNC Programming", "CAD/CAM software", "Non Destructive Testing Methods" are some of the areas under which hands-on-training has been conducted for students. To boost such activities, ZCOER has established the Center of Excellence, where these programs are conducted.

β β β β β Co-curricular activities have an important role to play in the students' all-round development outside of the traditional classroom learning experience. The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zeal College of Engineering & Research, Pune encourages the students to actively participate in co-curricular activities conducted on campus through the year. Industrial Visits, Expert Lectures, Student Chapters of Nationally and Internationally recognized professional bodies (ASME, ASHRAE,SAE, ISHRAE, ISTE etc), International level technical events, Project Competition, Skill development training programs, hands on sessions, internships, and various industry-sponsored projects are just a few of the co-curricular activities in which the students participated and achieved laurels. Student clubs have been established at the Department which provides a platform for the students to organize and conduct technical and brainstorming events. The Institute encourages all the students to participate in the co-curricular activities and provides all the resources required for the same.

Internships are educational and career development opportunities, providing practical experiences in a particular field or discipline. Internship programs give an opportunity to become familiar with the industrial environment and to acquire new skills, understand the current technological developments and sharpen the real time technical/managerial skills required on the job.
"The Department Internship Committee takes care of a studentβs interest, career prospects and guides them to choose the right company for an internship program. Internship said in getting sponsored projects, industrial consultancies and many opportunities as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the company where they complete their internship"

β β β β β The facilities available in Zeal Polytechnic are very good also the staff explains complex questions in a very friendly and easy way. As an ex student I will add that Zeal is a very big and good college in Narhe.
There are extra curricular activities u can opt for like drag races, swimming, rifle shooting, football, basketball, etc
Not only this but in Zeal College of Engineering they have also made a batmobile replica which was tested and it ran extremely well. This replica was made as the final year project by Engineering students of Zeal College's engineering wing. Many more of these projects are often shown in news channels and Zeal is a very active college with 2+ World Records at hand.

β β β β β All these reviews and the rating is fake. Do not believe any of them. They make you write the reviews on gunpoint. This is the worst college which does not pay attention to academics. They only want admissions. Whatever promises they make before admissions is all a lie. After you take admission nobody cares about you. Teaching faculty are all young, fresh graduates, non experienced and changes every semester. The dance club, music club, photography, acting, SAP Course,modeling ub etc. have been shut for years. They tell you about it during admission but it is again, a lie. Whatever they tell you is a lie. This is the worst college in Pune or entire Maharashtra.

β β β β β Good college with ambient facilities and crowd. It just has received the NAAC accreditation which is good thing for students. The NAAC accreditation helps student for scholarships and higher educational purposes. The labs in this college are good with proper ventilation and lights. The classrooms are properly equipped with projectors which had become a trend in every engineering College. CCTV equipped campus, so it's pretty secure for girls. Don't know about the staff!?? I guess there are all kind of teachers in every College so that doesn't matter. Pune University has 75% compulsory attendance which sometimes is waste of time for students and for their future opportunities. Facilities provided are top-notch. Feels like a premium institute but is still not upto the mark in terms of standard of education, which is increased basically by faculties and people
