★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the unique place in India.
This zero Mile was a centre point of British India.
The distance of main cities from this point in mile are mentioned in eight directions in British accent.
The height of the city from sea level is also mentioned on another piller.
The head of the piller was the standard height of the city.
This unique place must be restored properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zero Mile Marker is a monument built by the British for the Great Trigonometrical Survey of India. The monument has a pillar, a small stone to represent the zero mile mark and four stucco horses. However, there is no evidence that the monument is actually the geographical centre of India. The marker was used by the British to measure distances.
