2006 కి ముందు బాల బాలికలకు ఒకటే పాఠశాలగా ఉండేది. తరువాత రెండు గా విభజించి వేరు వేరు గా నడుపుతున్నారు.
ఈ మధ్యనే బాలుర పాఠశాలలోని పాత భవనాలు తీసివేసి వాటి స్థానంలో కొత్త భవనాలు నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. ప్రముఖ తెలుగు సినిమా నటుడు గుమ్మడి ఈ పాఠశాలలోనే విద్యానభ్యసించటం జరిగింది. ఆయన ఈ ప్రాంగణంలో గుమ్మడి కళావేదిక కూడా నిర్మించడం జరిగింది.

Before 2006, the school was the only school for girls. Then divide into two and run separately.
In the meantime the old buildings of the boys' school have been removed and replaced with new ones. Famous Telugu film actor Gummadi was educated in this school. He has also built a pumpkin gallery in this premises.
