★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the hotel is fantastic, zivaya spa doesn't quite get it totally right. The guys at the reception were sweet and efficient. The massage beds aren't exactly the most comfortable coz of the pillow they have. The bed with a space for the person to dip his head in is much more comfortable specially when lying face down. The bathrooms need a little bit of a facelift. The massage was decent but the therapist I got (Miss Andi) was a major let down coz of her attitude. No greetings whatsoever which is something one expects from a spa like zivaya. She was rude and it seemed like she was doing us a favour by providing the therapy. Hopefully my feedback will be noticed by zivaya team and they will fix the issues. It's the best spa in Ujjain definitely but can be better.
Just adding on as it was my second visit yesterday and to be honest, the franchise kept their word and the experience was good this time. They have got a new group of therapists and the one I got (Miss Elizabeth) was well trained and very polite. I opted for a dry massage for the first time and found it quite relaxing. The one thing I wish they change is the beds, particularly the neck rest area. They should have the space which I talked about above for dipping the face in when lying face down. Apart from this, no complaints. Good experience!
