★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seeing that this place was quite close to the Malleshwaram club we made our way here. Firstly, the ambience had a touch of some vintage Bollywood and Indian culture. We tried the hot and sour soup which was good. More mushrooms can be added in the soup though. Then we had tandoori khumbh which was soft and melt in the mouth. Spinach and corn fingers tasted really good with the Mayo side. I personally loved the Pani puri here which was delectable. Overall, we had a good lunch here. Considering that it is one of the few pure vegetarian places that I've visited I feel this would be a good one for some vegetarian options . The menu did have a number of interesting items .. to be specific the mango paneer caught my eye which would be something I would want to try sometime in the future. Service was fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my birthday on December 13, I took 10 of my friends to 1947 Malleshwaram branch for buffet dinner. They served hot soup n roti/ kultcha at the table the rest of starters, chats, desserts we served ourselves. For chats we had dahi puri, baby corn masala, pasta, on odles, ,other items like mixed veg palya, mutter planner, dhal, salads ,cut fruits, pickles, varieties of subhi, rice, puliyogre,ALU bonda, curd rice, sambhar, rasam, jamoon, phirki payasam, varieties of ice creams with nuts n chocolate sauce, cakes n pastries were kept we, enjoyed each items, many more items were there, The restaurant maintains its authentic taste n my friends preferred this venue for dinner ,we all had a great get together , they also played happy birthday music when I cut the cake which friends had brought ,it was a memorable day.

All the items which we ordered were good but the dishes which stole the show were Mango Paneer and Lahsooni Veg. ???
And after the sumptuous meal, the melt-in-the-mouth Chocolate Paan was the show stopper. A must try!
Ambience was pleasent and the prices were very reasonable.
PS : They serve buffet too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place , we have been going here for at least 8 years now and the quality is so steady.
The food is really fresh and tasty.
The service is absolutely great.
This time around we had Bhendi fry and aloo mutter paneer it was simply yum.
They do have a buffet too for ppl who like it.
I would recommend this place for all North Indian food lovers.
Do like and Comment & enjoy your time at 1947.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the restaurant for the second time after really liking the Veg Biryani the first time. I tried the buffet and was thoroughly disappointed. None of the items were good and there wasn't much variety either. The maintenance and upkeep were bad. The service and overall ambience were very poor. Never been to this restaurant again.
