★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 2 numbers of 239 buses. Both have the same number '239' one with a yellow board and the other with a white board. So basically even if you see the bus with number 239,you have to identify the colour of the display voard to determine where it is going,the one with yellow board goes to newtown,shapoorji and the one with white board goes to salt lake.
Coming to the frequency of the buses,there are 2 buses in one hour,half an hour interval between each bus (each for newtown and salt lake),so basically if you miss one bus,you have to wait practically for 30 minutes to get the next one.
Pathetic service!!
