★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had very bad experience. Most ill-mannered driver I have ever met. We had booked for 13 days @ 250 kms per day and paid for 3250 kms whereas at the end of our journey our total journey was 2320 kms. Yet he refused to travel extra 5-10 kms to visit nearby places of any city. Before booking I have sent him the detailed itinerary date wise cities we would travel and would have night halts. Only for one night we had not pre-booked and we wanted to stay somewhere in between Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. After visisting Pokhran and Ramdeva from Jaisalmer on way to Jodhpur, we decided to stay at a resort at Khichan which entailed around 50 kms extra travel. The drvier was very angry to travel extra 50 kms. Again when we were returning from Mt Abu to Ahmedabad and I wanted to return via Ambaji temple which would have been around 30-40 kms extra. He simply refused to go. At Jaisalmer we stayed at Club Mahindra resort which was 12 kms from the city. He was grumbling for that, as there were no eating place fro him nearby, though I have made arrangement for his dinner and breakfast at resort paying myself. At Jodhpur Club Mahindra doesn't allow drivers to stay at resort and they have made arrangement to a nearby lodge where drivers sleep at night. I paid to him the rent charges to stay but he returned back saying that at the lodge due to heavy booking they are providing mattress on floor. (though other drivers were staying there). At Jodhpur when I complained to the owner he told I should travel only 40 kms in Jodhpur for sight seeing. So my suggestion will be that if you book with them you should not stay in any resort, you should stay only places which is convenient to the driver, otherwise you have to go and search for suitable place for the driver to spend the night. You should have detailed sight seeing points of every city approved by them before booking, otherwise they will not entertain any extra point to be visited. You should restrict your travel to 40 kms in any city for sightseeing.
