The Ahuja Laser Eye Centre (ALEC) is the modern and well equipped Eye Centre in North Delhi, Pre-Accredited by NABH (Benchmark of quality health-care facility). It is a day care facility and Nursing home registered by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Delhi Government. It has a fully dedicated eye operation theatre of the high standard with operating surgical microscopes, phaco-emulsification machine (Bausch & Lomb, USA) and vitrectomy unit.
ALEC, until recently, existed at a nearby location at Vijay Nagar & was a registered nursing home since 2001. It was shifted to the present bigger premises in 2011. Another sister concern of ALEC, Eye division of Ahuja Child & Eye Centre (situated close-by at 36, Parmanand colony) has also been merged with this new centre at 212, Parmanand colony.
All basic and advanced eye surgeries and outpatient procedures are done at ALEC including Cataract surgery by Phaco-emulsification, Vitreo-retinal surgeries, squint and glaucoma surgeries and also various laser procedures for retina, Glaucoma and After-cataract. Quite a few eye surgeons use our facilities for doing their surgeries and laser procedures.
Our outdoor facilities are equally impressing with reception/waiting area of about 300 sq.ft. All patient’s records are being maintained from 1993 onwards both in computer as well as in hard copies. We have the facility for Non-contact tonometry, OCT Scan, Automated refraction, Automated lensmeter, Indirect ophthalmoscopy & Automated perimetry. Our centre especially specializes in caring for Diabetic retinopathy as it is fully equipped with OCT Scan, Fundus fluorescein angiography unit & Retinal LASER (Green photocoagulator).

I had an eye issue in October 2020 in my left eye that made my vision blur for long distance view. I got panicked as it happened for the first time to me and I felt I need to get specs. At this age of 25 I would have been the first in my family to wear specs which was very uncomfortable for me.
I thought of first going to Lenskart to get my eyes checked and get a lens number but my friend said to consult a proper doctor since it was my first time.
As a result I went to Dr. Ahuja. Charged me 800 which is okay.
The staff did basic eye test and sent me to Dr Ahuja who was very polite and professional. He told me that the blur was due to a previous eye infection and nothing to do with eye power. I was relieved!
He gave me an eye drop and it worked wonder and I got my perfect sight back.
I have taken the pain of writing this big just to appreciate good doctors who are professional and excellent in their profession. God bless them!
I sometimes use the medicine even to this day when I face the problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a medical professional and if I trust the doctor it says a lot about him/her. The Ahuja doctors have been doing excellent service for decades. I have all the respect for them.
People who review on basis of parking, location, staff should remember that they are coming for advice.
They are not coming to meet the staff. They are not coming for parking. And the complaints about charges are nothing. Minimal charges are fair.
