★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such rude executives at the store. If you are in a hurry to catch a flight, and thinking that you might get a quick service or solution to your issues. Please beware, they couldn't care less. They will tell you to fill the forms, call the customer care and that the process will take three months to six months for porting. Pretty useless to waste your precious time here.

They give you no information and then you have to wait til the night comes to get the SIM card to activate.
I travel a lot around the world and I have never in my life had such a bad SIM card experience!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No guys, better wait and do a prepaid plan outside ( airport fare : 1400 rs / airtel anywhere office : 400 rs, SAME EXACT PLAN). I mean...
In any case if you do not have your visa and you are transferring, if foreigner, you have to have it. That actually prevented me to do it. Good trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a review for the airport branch of Airtel. 900 INR for a SIM card, probably too much (price not written anywhere, but showed on a calculator). The SIM card *DOES NOT* get activated instantly! (can take a few hours to a day). The guys there don't tell you this until the very end, after you already paid. Therefore there is no benefit getting it from here compared to outside the airport. Activating the SIM card is not straightforward and there is little explanation on how to do it. Even after activating using the number provided, you still have to call these guys for a recharge, had to ask a local from our hotel to help me get in touch a couple times until finally I was able to use the SIM card, later than I was told. They probably rely on the fact that some will just give up and that's more money for them. Careful with the change as well, they know you are coming in with 500/1000 INR notes from the ATM - you will have to request it! I had to. The attitude is very hostile & don't care, you don't even get any help putting in the new card, like you do in any other decent airport. Remember you cannot go back into the airport once you are out, so make sure everything is clear beforehand. Tip - for Uber which is the main reason you might need a SIM card at the airport, you can get help from the Uber team at the pick-up point outside, they will create a mobile hot spot for you. Buy your SIM elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a platinum customer of Airtel and have 5 numbers, but I am sorry to say that the net work is very poor. Although I have made a complaint to customer service no action has been taken, neither has Airtel bothered to follow up about my complaint. I have to shift from room to room trying to find proper network and still the network just crashes to zero while I am talking or on a video call, yet open network on the app shows excellent coverage (if I can get it to open.) I am seriously thinking of shifting to Jio,
