The owner is very u professional and Cannot be trusted.
My family is currently stuck in Nepal as their is no money transactions done to the agents for them to move ahead. I called Mr. Khatu 3 days back.. He never came on phone instead some one from the agency answered pretending to be him who informed that there is some issue from the Agent end and will be sorted by Sunday(25th Aug)
I called my family and they said they they are still stuck in the hotel. As the money transactions is pending from the Agencya end and no one is answering calls. Their passport is stuck with the travel agent in Nepal ans he cannot help as never got this money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most unprofessional owner, Mahesh Khatu. Went to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra with him last month. Does lot of sweet and smooth talk before the tour and then refuses to take your call once you're in Nepal and China. All those planning to go for the Yatra with him beware. At the time of booking promised to fly us Mumbai to Kathmandu and return. Instead took us Mumbai-Lucknow. Then 6 hrs by road to Nepalgunj and then fly to Kathmandu. Same way on the return journey. 14 days trip cut short by 1 day without any explanation. No team leader sent with the group. Hence one had to fight at each stage for hotel accommodation, transport etc. Takes almost Rs 1.6 lacs per person and service provided is shoddy at the best. Worst of all was his refusal to take our calls or return our calls or just communicate with us. Left us in the lurch for all of 14 days. His standard reply before the tour is that you're proceeding on a Yatra and take it easy. But then he is charging a huge amount and provides ZERO service. Hope those desiring to join this Yatra go through this review so that they are saved from the discomfort that was caused to us.

The owner is fraud and Cannot be trusted.
My father took a loan from Bank to go for manasarovar.but they were stuck in Nepal as their is no money transactions done to the agents for them to move ahead. when called Mr Khatu he never came on phone instead some one from the agency answered pretending to be him who informed that there is some issue from the Agent end.
Yesterday 28th august my father and remaining tour member came back to Mumbai from Nepal.
Now all are going to take a legal action against him to recover the money paid to him.
Its my humble request you to all do not plan any journey from Aknsha tourism as they are fraudster.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently went with Aakanksha Tourism for Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. Our trip was to be ex Kathmandu. Below are the problems we faced. . 1. Last minute changes in the travel plan under the pretext that flight tickets are expensive due to late visa arrival! so instead we went via lucknow- nepalgunj-kathmandu. (Lucknow Nepalganj being a road trip)
- we had 2 more groups with us - 1 from Aurangabad and 1 from south India. The Aurangabad group also had to revisit their travel date but did not deviate from the travel plan committed to their clients.
2. No tour operator from Aakanksha tours accompanied us
- Again we were the only group without a tour operator; could it be something to do with the group size? as we understand the Nepal operator allots a free ticket if you give them 18 customers and in our case we were just 15!
- 8 of us traveled in a 7-seater Innova, for a 5 + hour journey on bad roads from Lucknow to Nepalganj
- Almost missed out connecting flight to Kathmandu at Nepalganj
- No one came from their supposed partner in Nepalganj ;One of our teams who reached first had to handle all the luggage.
- This absence was felt throughout as we faced room allocation challenges, food challenges as well as uncleaned rooms and non-functional toilets throughout our journey
3. Hotel accommodation
- Interestingly 2 days before travel date Mr Khatu did not know the name of the hotel where we will be staying in Kathmandu. it was not of the same level as committed. Our other 2 groups though had better hotels
- Same problem on our return journey as we did not know which hotel we will be staying and how long
- The night we arrived in Kathmandu was traumatic to say the least as no confirmation from Aakanksha on our flight plans, no one to let us know how our luggage will reach us. And this was after a 12 hour bus journey.
4. Lack of communication
- IN the 14 days not even once did Mr Khatu or anyone from his team respond to our messages or left us a message reassuring us.
For those travelling to Kailash better to look for an operator who directly deals with Chinese agencies as the model in this case was Aakanksha was just a front end to collect tourists for their partner in Nepal who in turn associates with another travel agency in Nepal who deal with the Chinese agency. In this model quite a lot of our money goes as a cut for all these 4 agencies involved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Destitute sevice. I am traveling to Tulajapur to Mumbai.Bus staff is very rude.He catching everywhere Passengers. We request to stop ten minutes stop the bus for toilet he directly say no I am late now.i ask to bus driver please drop me my destination but he dropped wrong places.I Will never ever recommend to anyone.They are taking the advantage bcoz that day S.T Bus is on strike bus ticket rate is very high.

We booked Ooty tour for our Honeymoon from here.Mr Mahesh Khatu arranged our tour very nice..?Had best expiriance..☺️?Their customer support was good..I will definetly recommend Akansha Tourism to others.

I have 1st hand experience and fro last 4 years not returning lacks of rupees taken as loan during kailash yatra.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst tour managers with no experience. Does lot of cost cutting while having lunch. You will feel empty stomach during lunch time. You must study before travelling or else these useless tour managers will skip lot of places. Hotels & bus services are good. Breakfast & Dinner are always provided by hotels as it is included in the hotel rates.
