★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mighty Ganges river flows through this place. The sight during sunrise and sunset is refreshing and amazing, the steamer boats passing, the cool breeze of Ganga river. Also there are little dense jungles nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akra River side is very beautiful place to visit. It is side of Hooghly River. Its a natural beauty, with jungles, lakes. There are many brick fields, nearby railway station is Santoshpur and Akra. But communications are very poor. If our government take some initiative it will be a very good tourist spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have visited the place after 3yrs,noticed some developments on pavements,so that more to explore and chill,which was difficult earlier.Best for weekend picnics (also recommend for families).Have added some aerial photographs of nearby hidden spots.
