Akshardham tample - Delhi

Great place to visit , attraction in delhi . It's has 2 shows - one is fountain night show and other one is combination of further 3 subdivision . Both were amazing , food facilities is available . Camera ,mobiles are not allowed inside of the temple . Also it closes in evening so plan you visit accordingly .must visit place in delhi

A beautiful place In Delhi near to Yamuna ji on Delhi Meerut road side.. Due to COVID it's closed but hopefully shortly we can see again Lights and Darshan of Lords.. Beautiful Structure, Well maintained , Nearest Metro station Akshar Dham, can Come by car or bike , Parking Facility available there, So many good shops there outside.

HOLY EXPERIENCE! I went to Akshardham Temple on 24.11.21. I have been there numerous times as a child but as a adolescent this was my first time. It has a metro station for itself called "Akshardham" which is on blue line of Delhi Metro. It took me approx 1hr10min to reach there, the metro station is very clean and big with outlets of CCD,Adidas,Reebok,Haldiram's etc. in it. I advise to not take rickshaw to reach Temple from station because it is hardly a 500 mtr walk from station . Clear signs for location of temple have been put by concerned authority,also, the Walk till gate of Temple is quite gay as i saw the wall on which different art was made by some art museum(sorry, I am unable to recall name of museum). Once, I went inside gate, I entered a line and this organised line continued till diversion for cloak room, wheel chair accessibility, madir entry, etc. . It took me 45 mins to enter mandir after this, I didn't measure time but this is according to my idea of waiting in line. So, I advise to person reading this to go there during 1st entry to mandir which starts at 10 a.m. and avoid this row. NOW, about AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE, "ETERNAL ADOBE OF BHAGWAN SWAMINARAYAN" . On the entry to mandir, one will see "Das Dwar" and then one will pass through "Bhakti Dwar" then "Mayur Dwar". After crossing "Mayur Dwar", one will be able to see "Akshardham Mandir" and in front of "Mayur Dwar", there are "Sacred Footprints", a replica of sacred footprints of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. I will not write much about architecture of "Mandir" but I will leave just this bit that "Gajendra Peeth" was my favorite. Also, after entering through "Mayur Dwar" one can visit "Bharat Upavan" before heading for "Mandir".("Bharat Upavan was also one of my favorites from my visit there.) NOW, there is a big sprawling food court where one can enjoy varieties of pure veg Indian and 'regular' Fast Food . Exhibitions which include Sahajanand Darshan, Neelkanth Yatra Darshan(Flim theatre),Sanskruti Vihar(Boat Ride), Light water show which starts at 6:30 p.m. are must when visiting Akshardham complex but unfortunately I wasn't able to see these exhibitions because I didn't carry enough money. Recalls of my feelings of Being there are profound and joyful and I plan on visiting Akshardham Complex again on a certain date in future.

Huge clean temple. Magnificent carvings. Water & light show at night. Extremely peaceful and filled with positivity. It has children’s play area, big food court, souvenir shops, photography booth. Camera and mobiles are not allowed inside the premises. Better to keep them in car to avoid long queue for submitting and getting it back (you can easily save 20-30min). Parking is huge, no issues for it. A must visit place when in Delhi.

Akshardham temple, a religious place. Just on Walking distance from Akshardham Metro Station (Do not fall into the advice of Auto Driver's, they ask 20 to 30₹ per person, but it's just on walking distance from the metro station). First of all you need to deposit all the electronic items in the clock room (keep the token safe) then go through security check and then enter to Shri Swaminarayan Akshardham. You can visit many temples inside. Also there are Tour packages inside the temple which cost nearly ₹350 (Approx) per person, takes minimum 2-3 hours to visit all palaces. Also there is Water show in the evening time (only evening - first show timings -7:15PM ) which cost ₹90 per person, its last for 25-30 minutes.

Amazing Temple, Really it's very beautiful place. You just fall in love with this place. Amazing Mind refreshing place to explore yourself spritual journey It is beside of Akshardham Metro Station. There is high level of security no any things no any doubtful material they allow to take inside the temple. Ground is very large and parking facilities they are provided. A lots of people come here daily. No any charges they charged from you. It's just high spritual power you will feel here. This place is amazing ? The Carving in the walls of tample is so amazing that you will wish to visit this place again and again. You can spend whole day here. Even the light show is so awesome. And the best thing is that there is no entry charges, it's completely free of cost. It just depends on you how much you want to donate in Donation box. And yes one more thing you have to Submit everything (like- Purse, handbag, Mobile/Camera and all others Digital equipment) at entrance gate. There is no photography allowed in the Temple. If you want to take a picture the take either from main road or just before entrance. But even if Photography is not allowed still you can capture some really good memories from here. ☺️?

It's one of the best temple in Delhi.. beautiful.. calm, best carving structures, beautiful status, beautiful garden, and best is musical show in evening.. one thing that I don't like is the queue.. this is time killing and spoil the mood.. but once you enter and Shaw the musical show all you destination vanished..
