★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Akurdi is good but akurdi railway station is always crowded with college students,workers,teachers due to local. Local are sometimes on time and mostly late. The station is clean and neat.the dustbins are provided. Also the station is safe for womens.as the people up and down till midnight, the station is never quite. No worries about the place. There's free Wi-Fi on the station and the speed is really good. There are alot hotels and tuppries near station. The ticket counter is on both of the sides of station. So need not to go the first platform for ticket counter. Always travel with ticket, don't travel without ticket as the price of local tickets are very cheap i.e.5 rs from akurdi to pune.
There are only two platforms as this is not junction. All the trains towards Mumbai run on these platforms only. This is railway track to go to Mumbai. But this is not big station so railways don't stop here. If you live in akurdi, you will love this place and never want to leave this place. Pccoe and dy Patil college are near to the railway stations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AKURDI RAILWAY STATION is near to D.Y PATIL COE Akurdi, Pune and PCCOE Akurdi ,Pune. Due to this its very help full for college students. Tickets available on both side railway station. Simple place to understand. Its two platforms railway station. Local train from pune to lonaval and lonavala to pune and other stop here . Stop of local train is near about 10 to 15 sec.NICE and SIMPLE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and good station. Always crowded because of college students. There are two colleges near this station. So you can see the youth around. Station has two platforms and two different ticket counters on both sides. This are is very crowded at evening 4-6pm. Good marketplace also. There is no food stall in the station but you can find the lot of food outside the station area on the both sides.
