★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Railway station is clean. Number of Dustbins are placed at the platforms.
There is no much crowd as compared to pune junction. There is a newly constructed open waiting hall with few benches and ceiling fans.
However, there are no proper parking facilities outside the station. Also, the street just outside the station is too narrow.
There is PMT bus stop outside the station. City buses to almost all places in Pune commute from this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SHIVAJINAGAR RAILWAY STATION is very useful to go Pune Railways station by local train. Shivaji nagar to pune local is working in gap of 1 hours. Railway station is quite clean. Shivajinagar is a centre area of pune. Railways Station is quite simple to understand. Pune to lonaval or lonavala to pune local take a stop for 15 to 20 sec here.

Shivajinagar railway station (earlier Bhamburde railway station) is a station serving Shivajinagar(earlier Bhamburde) suburb of Pune. It has two platforms. This is a halt for suburban trains of Pune. The station is also halt for trains from Mumbai to Pune Junction. This Station is important because this is the nearest railway station to Pune's Session Court and many important building like the College of Engineering, PMC building etc. Trains which halt on this station generally halt for 2 to 3 minutes. The National Highway 48 (India) runs behind the station. This Station is just 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from Pune Railway Station.
