Just 100 km away from Mumbai, this place is a popular weekend getaway for Mumbai and Pune folks. Alibaug is a subdivision in the Raigad district of Maharashtra and it has many serene and beautiful beaches, known for its mesmerisingly calm weather and dense coconut groves. Apart from the beaches, there are many historical and intricate temples in this region which are also interesting for tourists here. A walk amidst dense, refreshing coconut groves could also be very enchanting and relaxing if you are looking for some solidarity. Kihim beach, Alibaug beach, Kanakeshwar devasthan temple, Kanakeshwar forest, Kolaba fort, Hanuman temple are among the popular spots here for the tourists to enjoy. Murud is also very nearby to Alibaug and Janjira fort is just 1-2 hours away from Alibaug

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty beach with bad smell,thanks to horse ride. Yes horse ride on beach sounds nice but definitely not a place for people who want to spend some quality time without disturbance as it is also very crowded.Beach sand is almost black with sand and mud mix.Water rides, restaurants, washroom , resting place is available here. If you are planning to go there just try some water ride, do not plan to play on water as it is not very clean. You can visit the nearby fort and click some good picture for your Facebook or instagram. If you stay there for longer duration you can witnesses high tide raising water level in beach. Thats all, checkout Kashid beach instead which is nearby. Be safe and do not litter in beach. Thanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alibaug is very good place for photshoots and stuff like that so if you are a photographer or a vlogger, its nice place for you to visit. Overall my experience of Alibaug was great we had lots of fun. Overall i'll rate this place a 5 stars as it is great place.
The Alibagh beach in January is an extremely safe beach i.e. very shallow and that is why it is a favourite for families with small kids. Recommended to visit the beach in the evening or in the morning when it is relatively less crowded.
Famous for its beaches, Alibaug also offers water and adventure sports. The main beaches for water sports are Mandwa beach, Nagaon beach and Alibaug beach. These beaches offer activities such as parasailing, sea kayaking, jet ski and banana boat ride.
