★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allahabad Bank, Chandannagar Branch is PSU Bank. It is one of the oldest Banks of the City. Doing good business. Services satisfactory. It is open from Monday to Saturday (1st & 3rd only) from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for public business after that Bank does own house keeping works. Every 2nd & 4th Saturday is holiday for the Bank other than all Sundays. It has very wide customer base. There are pass book updating & Cash deposit machines at the e-corner of the Bank. While the Passbook updating machine remains for 24×7, the Cash deposit machine operates for 10 am to 4pm on bank open days. There is limitation in Cash deposit amount & number of notes.
