★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very old temple run by the A.B.Goregaonkar trust. It's spacious. The idol is majestic. You get peace sitting in front of the deity. Automatically one falls prostrate in front of the Amba mata. The temple is environment conscience. They are consuming the flowers,leaves to convert into manure. A noble cause.
The temple sells the Prasad offerings of sarees etc.to the devotees from an outlet located located in the hall at temple.
The Trust also runs a creche for children.
A wonderful institution. ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting this temple since my childhood days. One of the oldest temple in Goregaon.
The temple, though recently renovated, still has that antique feeling. Temple premises are kept neat and clean.
Devotees thrive this temple during Navratri festival. The temple schedules evening bhajan / singing programs during the same time.
During Dasara, devi palki is taken out in the neighborhood and brought back.
Recently they have started library/ reading room facility.
I certainly like visiting this on any occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A historical Devi Mandir in Goregaon West. It is a must visit place for local devotees. In fact this is Gaon Devi or village deity of this region. The trustees really take care to maintain discipline during festivals and special religious functions. Beautiful idol resembles to Mahalaxmi of Kolhapur. This Mandir is a very big temple complex with lots of other gods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest temple in Goregaon... it's the local shrine of AmbaBai or AmbaMata.
It would easily be rated as the cleanest temple in the suburbs... The place is extremely serene and quiet. The main temple as roofed tiles and the decor is simple and neat.
This place of worship is never crowded, hence the serenity enhances multi-fold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambabai Temple in Goregaon West is located in Jawahar Nagar which is on walking distance from Goregaon Railway station west. Ambabai idol is as similar as original in Kolhapur. Superb relaxing atmosphere, huge sitting area, well maintained and clean surrounding.

The management is superb here. During Navaratri everything is managed so well.
It's located in one the residential society.
Also has a multiple god / goddess temple so good for everyone to visit here.
Famous Shitala devi is also here.
