★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Siddhivinayak Mandir evolved from a small, tiny place of worship to the Grand Temple that stands today in the later half of the twentieth century.Temple glory was bought not only by the politicians who frequented the temple but also Bollywood film stars who continuously visit to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
Siddhivinayak is well known as "Navrachna Ganapati" or "Navasala Pavanara Ganapati"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the richest temples in Mumbai. It's a hindu temple dedicated to lord Ganesha. Located at Dadar, Prabhadevi. It was originally built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801.
The temple has a small mandap with the shrine for Siddhi Vinayak ("Ganesha who grants your wish"). The wooden doors to the sanctum are carved with images of the Ashtavinayak (the eight manifestations of Ganesha in Maharashtra). The inner roof of the sanctum is plated with gold, and the central statue is of Ganesha. In the periphery, there is a Hanuman temple as well.
Temple glory was bought not only by the politicians who frequented the temple but also Bollywood film stars who continuously visit to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
Siddhivinayak is well known as "Navasala Pavanara Ganapati" ('Ganapati bestows whenever humbly genuinely prayed a wish') among devotees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ganesh Temple and a very famous one in Mumbai after MumbaDevi Temple. Its very easy to get darshan on all days, does not take time as the crowd is limited here. The Temple is well built and security is high. You can keep your sleepers and shoes for free here, Trust helps in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible horrible!!! The men want to brush up against women and press against them even in a house of worship and prayer. No peace here only loud noises and your feet get so dirty! Nuisance traffic and parking. Find peace within yourself, skip going here. This has become a business instead of anything else. Would God really want that?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is one of the oldest and famous temples in Mumbai. Lord Ganesha is worshipped here. People have immense faith for this temple and it is believed that all your prayers are fulfilled here. This temple is visited by most of the people in mumbai as a result of which it is always crowded. But management of the temple makes sure that everyone is able to pray properly.
