★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality cheaper clothing and footwear could be found if shop carefully. There was also a shop selling good quality cashmere shawls and clothing really lovely but expensive. Not much cloth shops as Sarojinee market- but a good place for relaxed casual shopping.....

It is situated bang opposite to the New Delhi Railway station, towards the Platform 1 side. Abutting the Chelmsford Road and extending quite a bit towards the Panchkuian Marg, it is open for literally 24 hours a day..
One can get tea, coffee, biscuits, bread-omelette at any time
The area is most famous for its dhabas that provide hot wholesome food at very reasonable prices. Packed food is also available for journeys. Though both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare is available, it is the Vaishno dhabas or the pure vegetarian ones that do the best business and provide the most wholesome fare.
A range of hotels are also available to suit every pocket.
