At GKJ Special Foods P. Ltd. we want to leave a landmark in hospitality by constantly outperforming ourselves, through offering best quality experience and service to our guests. This endeavor was started in 2005 when directors, Mr. Navneet Jain & Mr. Bharat Gupta visited one of the street vendor selling Amritsari Choley and Kulcha in Amritsari town. Taste of the food was amazing and absolutely unique. The idea immediately struck to their mind for providing this quality of food to foodies of Delhi in love with Punjabi food and a food chain started with name of Amritsari Express.
We have not only put Amritsari cuisine on the Delhi map with the opening of 8 outlets till now, but in doing so have amply paid back a tribute to the land of milk lovers, Punjab.
All chefs employed in Amritsari express belong to Amritsar. With Amritsari Express’s truly authentic regional cuisine served in fast food like manner, Amritsari Express has created a ‘Niche’ for it’s desi and authentic food with the connoisseurs of Indian food.

β β β β β Such an awful experience. My parents and grandparents had food from this place over the weekend only to fall sick after. The chhole were uncooked and were cause of severe stomach pain. The Naan was not chewable and on top of everything the guy at the counter was unmoved, straightfaced absolutely not concerned. We would never eat there again.

β β β β β Have tried a few times in the past too! But yesterday's late night delivery was a surprise all together! Happiness in the package!!! Firstly the delivery was on time! So dinner at 9 which is a ritual at home became all the more happening!!!
The Makki Roti-Sarson ka Saag combi is like a must have from this outlet! The flavours are full on Punjabi and served with a little bit of jaggery to get the heavy food digested well!!! Outstanding Gobhi Pyaaz & Aloo Pyaaz Kulchas mixed totally well with Amritsari Choley and Pyaaz waali chutney. Every member of my family including me stopped talking while enjoying the meal!!! They were actually that good as if you were having them from a stand alone outlet up north.
I specially ordered the superficial Super Deluxe Thaali for myself with a choice of Maa Parantha as a bread too. Choley, Paneer Makhni and Mix veg were served on it in small amounts! It was an outstanding experience altogether indeed!!! The food is first class and I haven't had better veg dishes than this from ordering at home for a long time. Try it on as early as possible!!!

β β β β β We ate Mater pulao and in drink Kasar lassi. In the mater pulao no salt and taste, it was like a you eating only simple rice not pulao. But kesar lassi taste was nice. I only liked kesar lassi not pulao, I give 2 star only for lassi.

β β β β β Visited this place which looked like Punjabi style. The dishes are quite expensive. We have ordered Chole Bhature whose price was around Rs.150.
The Bhatura was quite big but not soft. The chole was not good and very less spicy. The taste of chole was not good. It was too much oily.
The overall experience was not good.

β β β β β Very bad experience.. I ordered food by scanning the QR code. While placing the order it gave an option of take-away. But when I went to the counter they told me that take-away is not available and he will cancel the order later. I got indulge in other activities and on belief i left the place. The order was not canceled and my money is lost.

β β β β β When ordering, say the word "combo" loud else they charge full value on every item even though you clearly point and order combo products. And staff justifies it later by saying you didn't clarify "combo". Lol. Guess you have to use some tactics to make the extra buck in this city. Saw this same 10 rupee scam happen to another customer in front of me. All the best, hope you fix this behaviour. I'm not visiting your particular space again.
