And you will not find any public bus after 7:30 pm , you will find express bus with gathering of many people , I am talking about what I expressed .. one week age this was the face of amtala bus stand ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get buses to kolkata side as... Dharmotala, Howrah, Saltlake, Jaduvpur, and to... Diamond Harbour, Raichak, Nurpur, Usti.
But very congested...narrow road no place for the bus to halt. There is footpath but full of hokers...people forced to walk on the road and auto-stand make traffic jam more worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wholesale market strategically located between Kolkata and Diamond Harbour, Amtala is always bustling with activity. Buses to Kolkata, Kakdwip, Bakkhali, Nurpur, Raichak are available at regular intervals. There is also auto connectivity to Bakrahat, Shirakole, Jhulpia, Khariberia etc and trekker services to Nepalganj, Usti, Dhamua, Bawali and Diamond Harbour. It also acts as a terminus for buses like C37, SD76, 235.
Footpaths encroached by hawkers, trucks laden with vegetables parked on roads, zigzag bikers, cycles and cycle-vans, auto and trekker stands, stray cattle ensure that you have never ending traffic jams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kindly keep the number of your booking agents or companies which book tickets at bus stands with you for prior bookings and planning your journey. Red Bus is also an option but is not accessible for people who don't own a smart phone.

You can't walk around the place due to traffic jams.
