Although a small museum the place houses some memorable photos and paintings of Late Biju Patnaik and his family members. A small garden in the premises adds to the ambiance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is ancestral residence of current Odisha Chief Minister Shrijukta Naveen Patnaik - the house of 'Biju Babu'. Late Biju Babu or Shrijukta Bijayananda Patnaik or more famously Biju Patnaik was the 3rd Chief Minister of Odisha (1961-63, & 1990-95) and founder of political party - the Biju Janta Dal (BJD).
Presently the house has been converted into a museum commemorating Biju Babu, by the Government of Odisha. It houses old pictorial archives, daily use furniture, crockery - cutlery, etc. related to Biju Patnaik. The first floor accommodates a computer center and a library. It is located near the Biju Patnaik Chhak (square), in Tulasipur locality of Cuttack. Nearby are the Barabati fort, Barabati stadium, Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Balijatra grounds and Mahanadi River.
