★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first visit to maa's ashram. I can only say you'll find peace. Just a request if you are visiting there for few moments of peace put your mobile on vibration mode. It was really very disturbing when you try to meditate and suddenly some mobile start ringing at its top of voice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is situated on the Western bank of the Ganga in one end of Kolkata. The Ashram was established here on the 12th April 1958. This has a vast area. On the bank of the Ganga, there is also a metalled ghat (bathing place) constructed by the Ashram and named as "Ma Anandamayee Ghat".
On 22nd September, 1960, in the newly-built temples, were installed the marble statue of Baba Bholanath, Ma's picture in the Durga mandapa and the images of Radha Madhava and Sitarama. After some time in April 1982, the marble statue of Shri Muktananda Giriji was installed in a newly built temple.
Big festivals like the Birthday function, Durga Puja, Samyam Saptaha were performed in the holy presence of Ma. Durga-Puja is performed here every year. The place is regarded as a tirtha by Ma's numerous devotees in Bengal. A magnificent, new temple of Ma, known as 'Ananda Dhyan Peeth', was also constructed in the Ashram campus during Ma's Centenary Celebration (1995/96). Meditation Camps are held here in vary serene and charged atmosphere.
And I'm see this asram my childhood . My grandma and her daughter's and some uncle's are member in this asram .
I like this asram and visit again and again this asram . I invite to all of you in this asram . I hope you like it , and feel peace of mind .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is located just beside riverbank of Ganga.Such a peaceful and pleasant place..??? That breeze from river will just make you sit in the garden hours long..
This is a branch of Anandamayi ashram of Haridwar (Kankhal).The area is huge and located just beside Ganga.Inside the area they have main prayer room,Natmancha,Annapurna room,Doctor's chamber, building for guests,Jopgriho,a beautiful garden,pond, stable etc..
Main mandir remains open from 8a.m.-12 p.m and again from 4p.m - 8p.m.
Bhog prasad is served here from 1 p.m..You have toh collect the coupon for bhog before 12 o'clock from the cash counter.The cash counter opens at 9 a.m.Coupon price-100.System is very good... Bhog should be taken sitting on the ground..For senior citizens there are table- chair,so don't worry..
Bhog menu is - Pulao,rice,dal,fry, 2 types of sabji,dhoka,chatni,payash,sweets.
After taking bhog you can rest on Natmanch and wait for mandir to open on 4 p.m or can sit on the garden and enjoy the beauty of Ganga..The garden is absolutely beautiful..?
Route direction - If you are coming by bus the bus stoppage is Agarpara Tetultala.From Tetultala more you can catch a auto or toto and ask driver to drop you at Anandamayi ashram..Very simple route.
Visit ashram and feel mentally refreshed.
