Strict warning - No motorable road to approach this place, it's in a paddy field, had to walk almost 500 metres in a Paddy field.
A brilliant 8th Century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva now maintained by ASI. The Sikhara denotes a typical early Eastern Chalukya era architecture, strangely with glimpses of Pallava architecture. There is no deity in the temple, the Nandi is damaged & no noticeable carvings. Nonetheless, it gives a sense of happiness to history buffs. There is a huge potential for tourism here...
