★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the only W.B.S.E affiliated English medium fully Govt. owned school in Southern Kolkata.It was established way back in the 1950s and since then many reknowned personalities have been the alma mater of this amazing school.The teachers here are very sincere and friendly as far as their relation with the students are concerned and even though the Madhyamik and the H.S. reaults haven't been up to the mark for the past few years yet the school atmosphere is pretty good I would say.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my school very much. All the teachers of this school are very sincere and I also loved all the teachers. Cleanliness is maintained very well by the Dustmen. All the classrooms are very spacy and airy. Each and every corner of this school is under the CCTV surveillance!!!

It started as a primary school but, with demands gradually increasing, classes were shifted to 33 Gariahat Road(S), Kolkata. The school received its affiliation as a High School in 1957 and was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School in 1961 with all three streams i.e., Arts, Commerce and Science.
The school observed its golden jubilee celebration in 2002. February 2 is observed as the foundation day of the school. Andrew's High (H.S.) School is a co-educational institute with English as the medium of instruction and it follows the syllabus and curriculum of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The school is situated at Jodhpur Park, Dhakuria. The school has a big playground. It is an English medium school. I had my secondary examination seat here. The rooms of the school are not so big. Hygiene of the place is moderate. Behavior of the teachers are good. Overall the school is good for education.
