★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are regular visitors and fans of @rangashankara theatre for a whole set of reasons. But one of them also is @anjuscafe - the sabudana Wada and chai there is a custom before entering for any play or performance there. ❤️
The whole setup is so beautiful and theatrical in its own way, and now to add to our temptation , Anju’s cafe has started an “all-day-breakfast” series over the weekends( to start with).
It has and Indian breakfast pallet and English breakfast. What you see is the paneer version of the English breakfast (for us middlemen ?).
The beauty is everything on that plate is home-made and organic. Even the bun and the jam.
So guys, do visit them. They are hungry for us regular theatre visitors to come and relish on their yummy food.
PS- all safety precautions wrt Covid are being taken care of. They advise you to remove your masks only while eating.

This is a tiny little cafe with varities of dishes, beverages, desserts and snacks.
Had akki rotti, aam panna, coffee etc - all were amazing and sufficient in terms of quantity.
Prices are a bit high, but worth it.
Not to crowded on weekends, hence not much waiting.
Staff are kind and the service is quick too.
I always end up snacking here whenever I visit Ranga Shankara to watch a play. Love the type of crowd that visits this place, all calm n smart.

Sabudana Wadav is Must try .
Most of the menu items were available .
You've to place the order and pay initally at the counter and it's self service counter. Could take time if it's crowded.
Friendly staff speaks Hindi and English. Seating capacity of approx 25 pax.
Price is okay for the food. You can pay via card or UPI.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this place on a Saturday evening after having a visit in the neighborhood. It was not packed and there were handful of people, we got a seating of out choice. The location is inside Rangashankara theatre. Good ambience.
We ordered the following:
Chicken Sausage and cheese sandwich, Chicken Penne Pasta, Litchi Juice, Immunity booster drink and plum pudding. While the sandwich was quite good, didn't quite like the pasta. It didn't look fresh and wasn't hot like how it is supposed to be. Appeared as if the ingredients were taken out of fridge and cooked upon the order. There were no veggies like olives or bell peppers. More importantly, no garlic bread served. Was disappointed with this. The beverages were okay as was the dessert. Most of the menu items were available but some got over like chicken salami sandwich which is what we wanted originally.
You've to place the order at the counter and the same will have to be collected from the same counter. Not an efficient system if crowded. Staff were friendly. Seating capacity of approx 25 pax. Price is okay for the food. You can pay via card or UPI.
Washroom was neat but the gents one was not lit or light non-functional.
