β β β β β The sweets may be nice but the shopkeepers aren't. They yell at you for clicking pictures of the store. If you don't want the pictures clicked at least write on the damn place. Mannerless souls!
Reminded me of how worthless some people in this place can be. You have a legitimate business but you don't even know how to treat customers properly.

β β β β β Annapurna bhandar is located opposite Gurdwara, Chandani Chowk. This place is very small, so you have to observe carefully in that crowd. We had rasgulla and misti doi. Rasgulla was really average but misti doi was perfect. If you want to try Bengali delicacies in Chandani chowk area than you should visit this place.

β β β β β Exact taste of Bengal . Bengalis may find prices little bit higher but it's quite worth. Try singhara( samosa) , something little different from regular one.

β β β β β This is one of the oldest Bengali Sweet Shops in Delhi. More so since this is in Old Delhi and not New Delhi. (The other two with the same name are in New Delhi.)
The range of sweets is less, I think. But the quality is on the same level. I was surprised to find how good their samosas (which are called shingara in Bengali) are. You can clearly taste the ghee and the high quality of the filling.
The other miThais are mostly at the same level. The Kancha Golla was very good.
I was unlucky to miss their jaggery sweets, whose quality I would have liked to have checked. Even though this is 12 March 2022, they didn't have jaggery sweets even though they're available in other outlets in Delhi (and definitely in Chittaranjan Park and Green Park).
Recommended. (I hesitate to add "Highly", but under the circumstances I should. Especially since there's nothing equivalent close by.)
