★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I regret the decision of taking my father to this hospital for his stomach cancer surgery. Had i not brought him here and taken to some other hospital my father would have been with me now. I know the surgery did not go well or the doctor left the tumour behind that is why his disease relapsed so fast within some months. So it is better to take our loved ones to the hospital that gives a better treatment or else their life is at risk.So better give a second thought.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst day care. I have come for a corporate test. Thay call much more people they can handle. Have come @ 9:00 am in empty stomach from yesterday night 9:00 pm (12 hrs fasting). There was no time for Breakfast and lunch was at 2 pm. Worst people management. Each test waiting time is more than 1 hr. If they cannot handle they should not book so many people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctors are good in this hospital, but unfortunately can't say the same for other supporting and technical staff. They are casual in their work, completely unprofessional, it is fairly costly hospital. Charges for various tests and procedures are unrealistically high so if you don't have mediclaim policy or you don't have corporate tie ups. This place could cost you fortune. All they are concerned with how to make more and more swelled up medical bills. Even for administering an intra muscular injection they will charge money irrespective of the fact that you are old or new patient. Please read the prescription of the doctor carefully and make sure that test recommend by the doctor is performed only on your patient. My father had high creatinine level hence, doctor prescribed to go for non contrast PET-CT, when I went to main building to get the test done they billed me for PET-CT with contrast instead of non contrast PET-CT. When I was waiting for my turn to get the test done, I suddenly saw the bill and realised that they have billed for wrong test. I brought this mistake of the billing staff to their attention, which they later on rectified and returned money. It's not the matter of money for me, it's the carelessness and unprofessional behaviour of the staff which could have raised the creatinine level further had I not noticed their mistake. This could have resulted in absolute disaster for me and my family.
Now I am very confused.. should I return to this hospital for further follow ups ? Right now I am scared.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My biggest decision for Apollo cancer hospital was wrong. My father was detected prostrate cancer and was under treatment of Dr Animesh Saha,my father was well perfectly walking and was fit to perform daily activities. The Dr gave abiraterone astate tablet one type of hormone therapy after taking that tablet his condition started detoriating and liver was damaged and my father died within 30days of starting treatment. The Apollo cancer hospital kolkata is not specialized for cancer they don't know how to treat cancer. It's better and wise suggestions to u all to take ur patients to Apollo Chennai or Vellore

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apollo Salt Lake, located on EM Bypass, near to Hyaat. I am really very happy with the level of services provided to me at Apollo Gleneagles Salt Lake. I was treating one of my relative and he was admitted for Chemo under the supervision of Dr. Debmalya Bhattacharya. He is a gem of a person with great behaviour. Doctor was very supportive and helpful at all times.
About the services from hospital end, starting from admission till discharge, everyone was so supportive and attentive. Mr Roy was very helpful and has always helped in allotting the room. All the sisters and attendees were just awesome. Sukanya mam deserves special mention. Strongly recommend Apollo to All. Apollo Gleneagles rocks.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hospital has all the facilities i must say. But their food quality is very poor, after complaining several times they didn't rectify . All the foods are undercooked and tastes bad . Dietician and food vendors are blaming each other every time. This needs to be changed.
Otherwise doctors are good , nursing staffs and other departments are supportive.
