About Art of Learning
Art of Learning was co-founded by Sandeep Mahajan along with Payal (his better half). An investment banker and consultant by training, Sandeep worked with industry leading companies like Lazard, KPMG, Manulife Financial till 2008, when he decided to give up the world of finance and and focus his energies on working with schools and NGO’s, developing systems for improving teaching-learning practices and student engagement.
In the last 7 years, Sandeep has worked extensively with NGO’s and is currently the Operations Head of Freedom English Academy, a Delhi based registered charity founded by a US philanthropist. In these 6 years, Sandeep has been instrumental in helping the NGO grow from 6 classroom (catering to about 500 students from under privileged backgrounds) to over 180 branches (catering to about 20,000). Sandeep’s focus at Freedom English Academy has been expansion, staff development and creating a world class staff training team.
Additionally, Sandeep has worked with Private Schools in Srinagar and Himachal, working with the school management to develop and implement school systems and operating processes.
