★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my first ever breakfast at ATS and it was good. Specially, I liked the Tea. And yes it's expensive because of the locality but its worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit for breakfast in kolkata. They open very early in the morning and very crowded too. They have good kachuri aloo but the one not to miss is their malai and butter toast with sugar. There are lot of similar names stalls so make sure you are visiting the one on Shakespeare Sarani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deep inside the theater road or what basically you say in the Shakespeare sarani you have such a hidden gem in form of ATS. Just 30 secs from my office opposite foot of the cafe The Next Level, i was quite surprised to find it in zomato, but later found them equally famous.
In the morning and in the tiffin hours its stays gathered with students as well as office employees like us for their refreshment and taste buds. Its basically a street side food joint with all those Hing kachori tea as well as quite lot varieties.
Two visits at this place for some food tasting and afternoon snacks. Tried first their Club Kachori which were really good in numbers of 6 pieces, hot and fresh. Sabzi was also tasty and spicy enough to go well with the kachoris. And my all time favorite gulab jamun, but very much disappointed with the way they kept it open in the main road where all the dust are falling in it while a car or bike passes by.
Again went their and tried their hing kachori which were in number and tasty with the sabzi as well. I am not a Singhara lover to be honest, but tried it too which was satisfactory enough to me with the mithi chatni.
They have also got a branch in Russel street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places that has a peculiar essence of Xavier's back gate. In the morning the fiery hot club kachori with curry has been one of the most memorable food that made me go back to my college days.
But the best seller is and always has been the Chai. Be it morning or the evening, their tea can make you better anytime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arun Tea Stall (ATS) is well renowned for their Chai and snacks! They have this strong elaichi flavour in that special masala which can be make or break deal for you! Personally I love a strong chai and ATS gives you exactly that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent kesar tea. Others were relishing toast, kachori etc. This is situated in a popular street side eating area best witnessed in the morning. There are 4 well known shops- Arun tea stall, Chaurasia, Anna Rao and hunger food stall at the cross roads of Shakespeare sarani and hungerford Street.
Must visit area in the morning to feel the vibe of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is built for midnight chai lovers. Kesar tea, normal tea , singara, kochuri is available whole night.
The store is situated on the road and easily accessible through SSKM or Elgin. Taste and quality is really good over here and the local people are pretty cool.
