One happy weekday I landed up in this place. I ordered my standard first time order, so that I can feel ki I am exactly in the right place. I ordered Medu Vada and a filter coffee. The Medu vada was light and crisp, freshly fried, and with green and orange chutney & mini idli sambhar were delicious. The appam was also perfect, not too thin and therefore not crumbling when you break off a piece. The paniyaram was excellent.
Overall a great experience, definitely will be your go-to place for South Indian food in Matunga.
If you not already visited Madras cafe & Cafe Mysore then first visit once here.
-and surely, all of them have their own beauty indeed.

HAD HIGH HOPES WIT IT WAS JUST A BLACKCOFFEE WIT MILK THTS ALL I M GOING TO SAY (sorry going to annoy many ppl but it is wht i said ur PREFERENCE OF TASTE MIGHT DIFFER) ..SERVICE ON POINT JUST. Tht the waiters are always in rush will not listen to ur order fully ? n( just be life tum sochlo phir bolna tab tak atta hu me) like this they come hear half n say nothing n go away then u have to call them again n ask whts spl wht is wht n then select n place order? ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place! Extremely hygienic, fully air conditioned restaurant.
The service is good, the ambience is eye catching.
Talking about the food, as we were there just to explore so we had Medu Vada and their Chocolate Milkshake.
Even their food is presentable as you can see in the pictures they serve it on banana leaf. Authentic food and very humble people.
You should definitely visit Arya Bhavan if you are in Mumbai and specially at Matunga as it is outside the station only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arya bhavan is one of our favourite places to visit when we are looking to eat some quality south indian food.
We tried Bramhin Idli, Rice Sambhar, Dosa, Uttapas.
Everything there is pocket friendly and extremely good in taste.
Every Mumbaikar should visit once.

Extremely crowded is why I gave a ⭐️ less but this is because it’s at a superb location and with the authentic food they serve it’s worth the wait I think they need a bigger place to accommodate the crowd cause it’s at waiting any point in time in the day.. But worth the wait..
Extremely courteous staff and they suggest the best according to what you would like to have, so all in all a super 4 ? to Arya Bhavan.. It’s my and my teams favourite place to visit when craving some tasty South Indian food
