★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained place where you will get state bus for the major places : Esplanade (kolkata) , karunamoyee, Haldia , Digha . The services were discontinued during covid situation and it has now resumed. The bus stand has the ticket counter and you can get the tickets on the counter or you can pre-book from online portal as well. The bus stand is quite clean and there are plenty of options for a quick snack as well.
It has a public loo as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popularly known as Asansol City bus stand. Inter district private buses are operated from here. Very congested , not properly maintained. A paid toilet, A passenger waiting hall is available. A SBSTC counter is there , few buses are running towards north Bengal & Berhampore, Farakka, Jangipur. Remember volvo buses are not operated from here.
