★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place that offers quality healthcare services. My mother has been associated with the hospital for about 5 years now due to a chronic health disorder. The nurses have always been cordial and patient, providing round the clock services. In case you are getting admitted, your stay will be comfortable and food quality is good. The management tries their best to cater to you in case of emergencies, which is a relief.
However, the only drawback I have found is with the front office where billing seems to take forever to process. The patient's family have to wait for a long time before the bills are ready to be paid. Recently, I also ecountered this young lady sitting there without a mask! It would be great if the management could look into improving their front office service.
Overall, we are very satiesfied with the service and will continue to avail it. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hospital's nurses are good but the receptionists are worst. Their behavior is very rude and show unwanted attitude. The doctor discharged my dad at 11am but the receptionists said that he cannot be discharged before 2.30pm. I even told that I will be waiting and clearing all the dues but they said that the patient cannot be discharged. The doctor Suddhasatwa Sen was extremely polite and one of the best. The facilities were very good but the receptionists were extremely worst.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somewhere I read Doctor treats patient not hospital...I realized this now based on my latest experience. One of the best surgeon in Kolkata Dr. Suddhasattwa Sen has performed surgery on my wife in this Nursing home. I don't know how many times, I visited the same locality in past but I never noticed or heard about it from anyone about this Nursing home. So I was bit hesitant initially but we went by what Dr recommended. Compared to other multi specialty hospital, it's definitely small and we shouldn't expect same facilities here. But one thing noticeable which I would like to mention in my review - though I am not technical expert but my wife told me that the OT was highly equipped and newly formed compare to another big super specialty hospital in South Kolkata based on her previous experience. It's reasonable and overall behavior of the hospital stuffs and admin people are very satisfactory. I would like to mention that Hospital authority helped me a lot for my medi-claim reimbursement for some matter where they are not obligated. It shows that the management of this Nursing home are supportive towards their patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience, I got laparotomy done there for ovarian cyst and because of their negligence and lack of knowledge ,they misinterpreted the prescription and I got cyst back in 10 days. Even when you need urgent care in night nobody comes, they just don't bother ,you pay hefty fees for nothing but more pain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to decide on having my baby delivered in some Super specialty or go with the doctor's choice.
The Doctor in my case was Dr. Purnendu Chakraborty, and i decided to choose later, i.e go with his decision of going with C Section of my wife.
The Hospital staff from day 1 (when I went to meet the TPA) and check out the hospital facilities were very friendly and helpful.
They were clear about their package which included everything, no hidden charges. Ayas / Maasis were present 24x7 to assist my wife before and after delivery. The TPA team were prompt and got my cashless claim approved in 2 hours and another couple of hours on the day of discharge for the final settlement.
My whole family had been there to welcome the baby (8 members) and there was absolutely no hue and cry about their presence about this from the office staffs. Even during discharge everything was explained in details and all medicines / cotton rolls / baby food tin which were allocated to the baby and mommy were given to us. All in all it was a wonderful experience and it justifies the statement that it does not need to be a super specialty and a brand to receive quality treatment. Places like these are not that huge in size, but they do provide their best efforts and try to be as helpful as possible to the patient parties.
Few Points to ponder :
Its a 40 bed nursing home.
Initial TPA bill was 95K while the final bill was 80K (mommy + baby)
Food was really good and if mommy felt hungry in between, she could ask for food which would freshly get prepared in Kitchen and delivered ASAP.
It has a separate maternity ward, which isolates the mother and the baby from other patients
It has a running facility of Child ICU if in case of any unforeseen circumstances (thankfully i didnt need this)
Special Regards to Panja Ma'am (coordinator) for making our family feel homely and managing our tantrums.
Thank you would be a small gesture to Dr. Purnendu Chakraborty and his team, my wife had no idea of an OT and they ensure she was having fun and a happy mood while going through her C Section and felt almost nothing even on Local Anesthesia.
