★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mother lived here for four years. There are about 300 apartments and it's reasonably well run, with groceries, medicines, veggies, ironing in the complex, maids via an agency. The apartments, esp the 1 bhk are very small with average quality fittings.Downsides:First, the committee discriminates against tenants and owners, basis age- not fitness. If you're 80+, you're asked to keep a 24*7 attendant, even if you're fit. The costs, pain of supervising the attendant and ensuring safety of valuables when you're out isnt considered. This isnt so in Athashri Pashan. Second, security is lax, as are Covid protocols( again, Pashan is stricter). Third, when my mum's attendant got Covid, nobody- not the manager, not the committee- called to check how she was. Thankfully, Mummy tested negative. Fourthly, the maintenance people- plumber, carpenter- often take days to come, as they arent in house. Better off calling your own.So, net net, good if you are active and < 80. Not recommended otherwise..and I'm referring only to Athashri Baner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well laid out flats and huge corridors with grab handles. Entire compound is Wheelchair accessible. Truly a senior citizens paradise. Good to see residents tiding up after using the facilities which sadly lacks in our society we reside.
